Ready-to-Sell Status

Certification Does Not Automatically Mean Ready-to-Sell

Agents must confirm licensing, contracting, appointment, certification, product training, and carrier approval before discussing benefits or submitting enrollments.

  • Check active, pending, transfer, incomplete, or released carrier status.
  • Review carrier-specific certification and appointment requirements.
  • Confirm product certification and market training are complete.
  • Upload completed AHIP, NABIP, and carrier certificates.
  • Verify Ready-to-Sell before marketing, presenting, or enrolling.
Important: Do not advertise, compare, present benefits, or submit enrollments until the carrier confirms you are fully approved and Ready-to-Sell.

Important Agent Reminder

Certification dates are helpful, but they are only one part of the process. Agents must also be properly contracted, appointed where required, licensed in the applicable state, certified for the applicable product, and confirmed Ready-to-Sell by the carrier.

Review your portal regularly for carrier statuses, pending contracts, release windows, appointment activity, and available contracting opportunities.

Tip: Bookmark this page and check back often. Carrier dates, training portals, requirements, and launch windows can change during certification season.
Compliance Notice: This page is provided as a convenience for licensed insurance agents. Carrier certification links, dates, requirements, deadlines, contracting rules, appointment rules, and Ready-to-Sell requirements may change at any time. Dates marked “Coming Soon,” “Check Portal,” or “Expected” should be confirmed directly with the carrier. Agents are responsible for confirming current requirements directly with each carrier and must not market, discuss, present, compare, or sell any plan unless properly licensed, contracted, appointed where required, certified, and approved as Ready-to-Sell.
